Small Japanese personal tansu with 6 drawers, made of kiri (paulownia) wood with sugi (cryptomeria) wood frame, original black iron hardware (missing original locking bar), Meiji Period (c. 1880's). Size: 18 1/2" high x 17 1/2" wide x 11 1/2" deep.
